Here we have a playlist curated by film composer John Murphy. The multi instrumentalist, largely known for his collaborations with Vadim Jean and Danny Boyle has supplanted himself as one of the top film composers working in the world today. This month he has released a new LP entitled 'Anonymous Rejected Filmscore', which as the title suggests is a "soundtrack album based on a film score (he) had thrown out five or six years ago." Years later he decided to return to the score having not lost the itch to complete it and it became 'the lost score', the score without a film as it were. The playlist he has prepared for us however is far more song based than you might expect, moving from Jesus And Mary Chain to Velvet Underground to Anthony & the Johnsons and many more beautiful choices in-between.
