Stories For Ways And Means
Jeff Antebi, founder of the record company Waxploitation, has spent the last 10 years collecting stories from musicians and artists for a “literary mixtape” of grown-up children’s tales.
Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Kathleen Hanna, Laura Marling, Frank Black and Bon Iver are among 30 musicians who have contributed to the 350-plus-pagebook entitled Stories for Ways and Means.
Also set for release in video format which will see the stories being narrated by the likes of Lizzo, King Krule and Joey Bada$$, while actors Zach Galifianakis, Danny DeVito and Nick Offerman also offer their voices to proceedings.
Stories for Ways and Means is a limited-edition book, available on a first-come, first-served basis. The regular edition sells for $98 and 100 copies of “The Rare Rare Rare Exclusive Signed Edition,” with autographs from Nick Cave, Bon Iver and more, go for $500. Available for pre-order now.
